The Family Behind the Kitchen!
Oma’s Pride raw food is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated business based in Avon, Connecticut. They began selling eggs to neighbors, then transforming into a turkey farm for their local community. In the 1970s, they grew to a USDA poultry processor & regional food distributor for New England. Through family values of quality and care, their company thrived.
As raw food for pets emerged in the 1990s, one of their many loved pets on the farm was cured from an illness through raw feeding. Through this, the idea for Oma’s Pride was born. With the help of animal nutritionists and vets, old family recipes were transformed into wholesome food for pets.
Still committed to sourcing from local & trusted partners, Oma’s Pride raw food is made with the best quality human-grade ingredients. And because they source locally, and are still based right in Connecticut, all proteins are USA-raised.
