THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PRODUCT
Over ten years ago, two brother-in-laws with a love of dogs opened a pet supply store in Colorado. They slowly began learning about what nutrition would help their customers’ pets live long & happy lives. Through this knowledge, Estes Paw was born in 2019 with a mission to provide premium products!
Jason & Will understand that chews and treats are more than just a reward – they are the key to a healthy body, mind, and a strong connection between you and your pup. Giving our pets chews that make them feel good allows them to trust us and strengthens our bond with them. This is why each product from Estes Paw has high nutritional value with minimal processing, making them more than just another dog treat brand.
THE ESTES CHEW DIFFERENCE
Just as we aim to source the best products, Estes sources the best ingredients. With a facility in Loveland, CO, many of their raw, grass-fed proteins are sourced locally. They do source from a few other states, all within the U.S. at USDA Certified facilities that they trust. We know USA products are important to many of our customers, and these are proudly sourced & made in America.
All of their chews & treats are air dried slowly, rather than dehydrated quickly at high heat. This process preserves both the nutrients and the taste in the products, making them better for your pups. None of their single ingredient products use preservatives, and simply use a tested moisture content to ensure they stay shelf stable for convenience & safety.
SAFETY FIRST
Even though dogs have a short & acidic digestive tract, it is still important that anything they eat goes through safety measures against bacteria. Estes Paw’s care for safety carries through their whole process. Proteins arrive frozen to them and are naturally thawed in refrigeration, rather than using a speed thaw process, which prevents excess bacteria growth.
Products are then cooked in specialized ovens with specific heat and air flow ratios to remove moisture and cook to a proper internal temperature. Rather than just using high heat, this process can take up to 48 hours, but is well worth it! Bully sticks are pre-treated with apple cider vinegar to further reduce pathogens. Plus, bones can go through this step multiple times to maintain the integrity of the chew, preventing splintering.
Once the product has cooled, each batch goes through randomized testing for pathogens and moisture content to ensure no mold growth. Approved batches will be packaged GMP certified room, ensuring the highest quality & safety.

BEEF BULLY STICKS – A fan favorite that’s odor free (yay!) and available in multiple sizes & thicknesses. The biggest & best is the “Titan” that can offer hours of chew time!
BEEF STEER STICKS – Same as a bully stick, but from a steer not a bull. What does this mean? Softer chew, better for puppies and seniors.
BEEF TENDONS – These provide a great chew with incredible benefits. Their stringy texture acts as a floss, plus they are packed with joint-healthy nutrients.
BISON MARROW BONE – Long-lasting bone that provides hours of entertainment. Your dog will love gnawing on this, and you’ll love the anti-inflammatory benefits from the marrow!
BEEF SHINBONE – Available in two sizes, this bone is (almost) splinter-proof, making it perfect for strong chewers. With less mess & grease, but still all the flavor, this will leave everyone happy.
